ITER (INTERNATIONAL THERMONUCLEAR EXPERIMENTAL REACTOR) – TB ALPHA
Project Overview
The ITER fusion reactor has been designed to produce 500 MW of output power while needing 50 MW to operate.
Thereby the machine aims to demonstrate the principle of producing energy from the fusion process than is used
to initiate it, something that has not yet been achieved in any fusion reactor.
Our Mission
Setec Egypte was assigned to the TB ALPHA building.
Our Scope
Setec Egypte was responsible for making the Structural works including fully detailed formwork and
reinforcement shop drawings and making the As-built drawings for all the structural elements.
